The Cuttlebone Leaf Cuff is one of my best examples of the inherent natural beauty of cuttlebone casting. The high-polished organic stepped texture reflects light as elegantly as a faceted stone.
*The cuttlefish is a squid that has one bone in it's body called the cuttlebone. This bone is made of layers of fire-retardant calcium that can be carved into with skill and used for jewelry casting. Molten metal can be poured into the mold, picking up it's beautiful natural texture. This is the process I've been refining my entire career.
