I carve the models in the bone of the cuttlefish and pour molten metal into the negative mold to achieve beautiful and uniquely textured results. MAES Jewelry is cast in solid sterling silver with an upgrade option of 14k gold vermeil using no nickel. Each piece is handmade once you place your order, so please allow 2-4 weeks before shipping. Additionally, for many years it has been my great pleasure to make all of this work by hand and to sell it to you at affordable prices. However, costs of materials including gold and silver have risen to such high levels that I am forced to raise prices to stay in business.
